  • DAR Awards
    Tuesday April 4 two students from Watsessing attended the DAR Awards ceremony at the Civic Center. Watsessing had a Sixth Grader place first and a Fifth Grader place third in the District competition. Well done students! 
  • Book Fair was a spectacular success!
    Thank you to all our wonderful parent volunteers who helped with Book Fair. The students loved their free book. The Fair was very successful - students read s'more books!
  • Congrats!

    Challenge 24 is a game using cards with four numbers on it. You must determine how to get to 24 using the numbers. Students played against each other in Watsessing and the winners went on to a district competition. The top eight students in the District were then eligible for the County Competition. Kai Contento from Watsessing, who was coached by Lisa Fisbeck, earned 2nd Place when competing with other students at Millburn Middle School. Way to go Kai!

    Cathy Velardi a Watsessing Elementary Second Grade Teacher was honored today, January 27th as a teacher who rocks from WDHA Teachers Who Rock Class of 2017, presented by the New Jersey Education Association.

    If you need assistance signing up for Parent Portal please speak to your child's teacher, arrangements can be made to help you sign on. The Parent Portal is an important part of keeping in touch with your child's teacher as we work together for your child's benefit.
  • Please note: There is a new traffic pattern for School Safety
    Locust St. is becoming being a one-way, Monday thru Friday, from 7:30am-9am and 3:00-4:00pm. We will also enforce  the “No Parking” signs and encourage parents to “drop and go” as they drive toward JKF.
